Technical Support Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and resourceful Technical Support Engineer to join our infrastructure support team in Perth. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of technical incidents, work closely with clients, and troubleshoot real-world issues in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide second-level technical support for software, hardware, and network-related issues
- Diagnose and resolve escalated support tickets from Help Desk team
- Monitor system performance and support cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Liaise with development teams to address bugs and client feedback
- Write and maintain documentation for known issues and fixes
- Participate in after-hours support rotation (minimal, with allowance)
Requirements:
- 2+ years in technical support, systems administration, or IT engineering
- Solid troubleshooting skills across Windows/Linux environments
- Experience with remote desktop tools, ticketing systems, and cloud platforms
- Knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and VPN configuration
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Benefits:
- Salary: $76,000 – $82,000 AUD/year + super + paid on-call allowance
