Inclusion Solutions partners with State and National Government Departments, Local Government Authorities, State and National Sporting Associations, local sport and recreation clubs, regional communities and a wide range of community-based organisations to promote and develop inclusive practices.
We provide community development consultancy and support across Australia, assisting in developing inclusive, welcoming communities, so that all people can meaningfully connect with, and be valued within their local community.

About the role
Working as part of the WIN Project, co-designed with people with disability, you will play a key role in providing 25 sporting clubs across the state with tailored support to improve their disability inclusion and promote their club as a place where everyone can feel welcome. This support will include in-person assessments, practical resources, training and ongoing mentorship through to June 2026. Through this initiative, you will guide sports clubs to achieve a disability sports inclusion accreditation - the WIN Symbol in recognition of their inclusive excellence
As an Inclusion Consultant you will be part of each participating club receiving:
- Access to the WIN Framework,practical resources and written feedback reports.
- Ongoing support, training and mentoring through to June 2026.
- Two comprehensive in-person assessments by Inclusion Consultants.
- The ability to earn a Bronze, Silver, or Gold WIN Badge to display to potential and current club members that recognises your achievement.
This project commenced in 2024, and the consultation and design phase have been completed. The implementation stage where we begin working with clubs has just begun with the project is set to wrap up in July 2026.
The duties of the role will include:
Support and Mentoring
- Provide personalised support to each participating club, helping them build confidence in disability inclusion.
- Mentor club staff and volunteers through change management, embedding inclusive practices over time.
- Share practical advice, resources, and encouragement that foster safe, welcoming sporting environments.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for clubs throughout the project's implementation.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders through regular communication, coaching, and follow-up.
- Encourage and guide club staff and volunteers to actively participate in inclusion practices.
Project Administration and Resource Development
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessment findings, club progress, and feedback.
- Conduct and arrange in-person assessments, mentorship and progress meetings with key stakeholders.
Relationship Building
- Cultivate strong relationships with clubs and their key stakeholders.
- Build rapport and trust with club leadership to encourage long-term commitment to inclusion.
- Represent the WIN Project professionally at internal and external meetings.
- Leverage your understanding of community sport to connect authentically with diverse clubs.
Workshop and Training Delivery
- Plan and assist with workshops or training sessions on inclusive practices for clubs.
- Help develop event materials, presentations, and facilitation guides aligned with the WIN Framework.
Our ideal candidate
As an Inclusion Consultant on the WIN project, you will bring with you strong connections to, and passion for, the community sport sector. You will have a solid understanding of how typical clubs operate, their dynamics and some of the common challenges they may face in order to effectively engage clubs and guide them towards meaningful inclusion.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience with or connection to community sporting clubs/groups.
- Personal experience working with disability or lived experience of disability.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to effectively network, build relationships and engage with diverse community members.
- Experience in project delivery, administration, and/or community engagement.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong capability to work autonomously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and database management.
Additional requirements
- A valid National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
- A valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- A valid First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Availability to work flexible hours if required for community events.
