Cleveland State School is seeking a caring and committed Youth Worker to support students experiencing educational, social, emotional, or behavioural challenges. In this important role, you will work closely with students, staff, and families to build strong connections and provide the support needed for student success and wellbeing.
This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.8FTE), 60.8 hours per fortnight.

The school caters for Prep to Year 6 students with onsite Outside School Hours Care.
Step Into Your Next Chapter:
- Support students experiencing educational, social, emotional, or behavioural challenges.
- Work closely with teachers, families, and community agencies to ensure positive outcomes for students.
- Develop and deliver engaging, evidence-based programs such as Rock and Water, Drumbeat, Lego Therapy or similar initiatives that build resilience, social skills, and self-esteem.
- Liaise with external organisations to strengthen family and student engagement.
- Contribute to a positive, safe, and supportive school culture.

The Perfect Fit:
- Experienced in implementing structured wellbeing and engagement programs.
- Skilled in working collaboratively with external agencies and families.
- Passionate about fostering inclusive practices and supporting student growth.
- Organised, data-conscious, and able to track student engagement and outcomes.
