About Us

ReachOut is a youth support service providing essential care to children and young people under the Department of Child Safety. We pride ourselves on creating safe, nurturing, and empowering environments for young people, while supporting families and building brighter futures.

The Role

We are seeking passionate and reliable Youth Workers to join our growing team.

In this role you will:

  • Provide transport, supervise contact, and day to day support to children and young people in care
  • Provide 24/7 emergent accomodation and support for children and youth's in crisis situations
  • Build positive relationships and act as a role model through consistency, empathy and professionalism
  • Maintain accurate case notes and follow department of child safety protocols
  • Working collaboratively with families, carers and professionals to ensure the best outcomes

About You

We are looking for people who are:

  • Experienced (or willing to learn) in working with children and young people in care
  • Hold (or willing to obtain):

  • Blue Card for Working with Children

  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Current Drivers License and Reliable Vehicle

  • Desirable but Not Essential

  • Cert III/IV in Community Service, Youth Work, or similar
