About the role
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and execute public relations and communication strategies aligned with Cbus' strategy and business plan.
- Research and prepare corporate strategic communications materials such as articles, speeches, press releases, printed publications, member and employer content and end to end audio visual and social media content.
- Assist in media opportunities and conduct public relations activities, including public information and employee communications.
- Lead media monitoring activities and maintain up-to-date media files.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment of Fund communication activities and provide administrative support for Public Affairs responsibilities.
- Experience in a similar communications, public relations or media relations position ideally in superannuation or financial services
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality communications for various purposes and audiences
- Proven experience in managing media relations and external communications
- Familiarity with a wide range of media platforms and communications tools
- Demonstrated capability in end-to-end audio-visual content production
- Strong skills in building and maintaining effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally.
