  • Travel interstate one week per 6 weeks Brisbane, Melbourne or New Zealand (Monday- Thursday travel, Friday planning)
  • Every 12 Weeks, Travel to Melbourne for 2 Days for a sales meeting
  • Conduct weekly video meetings back to colleagues in the office

Based in the southeastern suburbs of melbourne, this manufacturer provides flavour solutions to the FMCG industry around the world and looking for a driven individual to promote the features and benefits of your products & services while utilising your sales skills to close sales and responsible for managing the end-to-end client expectations.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in a range of food and beverage products that are manufactured in-house and supplied around the world.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop new opportunities and understand the sales process to manage call cycles
  • Identify existing and new businesses in target profitable industry sectors
  • Generate leads and follow up by booking qualified meetings with decision makers
  • Negotiate, prepare, and present strategies to customers on a one-on-one basis
  • Ensure customer feedback is being recorded, reviewed, actioned to achieve satisfaction
  • Achieve sales targets and KPI's while ensuring the highest level of customer service
  • Understand competitors in the area and have a detailed knowledge of their capability
  • Act as Project Manager when required for small to medium sized projects

Experience & Qualifications

  • Highly desirable if you have a Bachelor of Commerce or a similar qualification
  • Consult and engage at all levels of the business to build and develop appropriate solutions
  • Negotiate, prepare, and present sales plans, strategies, and forecasting
  • Create, meet, and exceed sales targets, with an emphasis on business growth
  • Demonstrate experience in working with customers from inception through to delivery
  • Strong Microsoft literacy skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word & Outlook)
  • Experience as a Sale Representative or Business Development Executive
  • Customer focus and able to develop effective working relationships with all people
  • Influence people while enjoying the daily challenges of sales

It's a necessity that you come from the FMCG industry, with manufacturing, processing, flavour and pharmaceutical compound experience. Of course, the energy, drive, enthusiasm, and focus associated with a sales role
