The role:

We are currently searching for a2-5 year PAE lawyer to join the Banking & Finance team in our Melbourne office. In this role the successful candidate will work on high profile national matters in a dynamic team environment. You will have direct contact with clients including 4 pillar banks and other major financial institutions who are active in the Australian business and corporate lending markets. The legal work is diverse and challenging with a range of matters involving documenting, negotiating and settling transactions in the areas of   property and construction finance, agribusiness finance, trade finance and general corporate funding.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • 2-5 years PAE in a reputable front end Banking & Finance focused practice
  • Experience in documenting, negotiating and settling finance transactions involving banks and financial institutions
  • Strong commitment to client services and advanced communication and research skills

Ideally, you are able to work both autonomously and in a team environment (in particular one on one with partners). This is a genuine opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing firm and practice, and become an integral member of this team.
