Casual Administration Assistant – One Day a Week

Location: Grovedale

Our psychology clinic is seeking a reliable and friendly Administration Assistant to join us on a casual basis, working one day per week to support our team and clients (option for additional hours)

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and values the importance of mental health support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming clients and managing appointment schedules
  • Handling phone and email enquiries
  • Processing payments and issuing invoices
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential client records
  • Assisting with general office tasks (filing, scanning, faxing)

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in administration or reception (healthcare experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
  • Familiarity with practice management software (e.g., Halaxy) is a bonus
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel
