About the role

We are currently looking for an experienced
Bookeeper/Office Manager
to join our team on a Part Time basis of 24 hours per week. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for processing payroll, accounts payable transactions, whilst also working with the Project Delivery team to manage debtors and collections. We are looking for someone who can streamline procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and analyse and report on financial data.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Lead debt collection efforts by fostering strong client relationships and proactively reducing outstanding receivables through effective communication, mainly through phone calls.
  • Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Manage contractor and sub contractor compliance
  • Administer payroll functions including staff reimbursements, superannuation, payroll tax, and work cover declarations in compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Invoice support and reconciliations
  • Manage and respond to incoming emails and service requests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Process bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Cashflow reporting bi monthly.
  • Balance sheet reconciliation preparation
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports on a weekly, monthly, and ad hoc basis to support business decision-making.
  • EOFY and budget support and preparation
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist with office management and other administrative tasks as required
