bringing expertise in equity trading, portfolio management, and financial reporting to support our investment strategies.

Job Overview

You will be responsible for executing and managing stock trades, optimizing the family office's equity portfolio, and contributing to financial reporting processes. You will leverage your market expertise to drive investment income and feed insights into ongoing strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Trading and Portfolio Management
:

  • Execute buy/sell orders for equities (stocks, ETFs) to maximize returns and manage risk.
  • Monitor market trends, perform technical and fundamental analysis, and adjust portfolio allocations to align with the family's investment objectives.
  • Manage realized capital gains and dividend income, contributing to the
    Profit & Loss Statement
    .

Financial Statement Support
:

  • Provide data for the
    Balance Sheet
    , tracking equity investments under assets and any margin loans under liabilities.
  • Support the
    Profit & Loss Statement
    by reporting realized capital gains, dividends, and trading-related expenses.
  • Contribute to the
    Cash Flow Statement
    , ensuring accurate tracking of cash inflows and outflows.

Analysis and Collaboration
:

  • Analyze portfolio performance and provide actionable insights to family office leadership.
  • Prepare reports for family members, highlighting trading performance and market trends.

Qualifications

Location:

must be willing to move to Osaka

Education
: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. CFA or Series 7 license is a plus.

Experience
:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in stock trading or portfolio management, ideally within a family office, hedge fund, or investment firm.
  • Proven track record of executing profitable equity trades and managing investment portfolios.
  • Deep knowledge of equity markets, technical analysis, and portfolio management strategies.
  • Proficiency in trading platforms and financial software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills to present insights to family members and advisors.
