The role
Are you ready to step into a role where your clinical skills, curiosity, and compassion truly make a difference not only for the people you support, but for the future of our profession?
At Auburn Health, we are passionate about delivering the highest standard of evidence-based care. We also believe in building a workplace where every Occupational Therapist, whether just beginning their journey or bringing years of experience, feels supported, inspired, and proud of the work they do.
We welcome new graduate OTs who bring fresh perspectives, enthusiasm, and a hunger to learn, as well as seasoned clinicians who offer deep knowledge, clinical leadership, and mentorship capacity. You will be joining a collaborative, high-performing team that values clinical excellence, trust, and shared growth. You'll contribute to shaping the future of our service delivery and will be supported with opportunities to learn, lead, teach, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised therapy plans that reflect each client's unique needs and goals
- Deliver evidence-based OT interventions, including therapeutic strategies, assistive technology, and environmental modifications
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, person-centred care across service transitions
- For experienced clinicians: Provide supervision and mentorship to junior OTs and Allied Health Assistants
- For early-career clinicians: Engage in structured supervision, ongoing development, and supported learning
- Participate in quality improvement projects and contribute to innovative practice
- Maintain accurate documentation that meets clinical and regulatory standards
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA
- New graduate applicants: Eagerness to learn, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to evidence-based practice
- Experienced applicants: Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience and demonstrated expertise across physical, cognitive, or psychosocial domains
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build meaningful therapeutic relationships
- A proactive, reflective approach to professional development
- A genuine passion for making a difference in people's lives—and contributing to a strong team culture
- Interest in supervision, leadership, and service improvement (for senior roles)
What We Offer
At Auburn Health, we invest in your growth because we believe clinicians thrive when they feel seen, supported, and professionally fulfilled.
- Competitive salary with superannuation and professional development allowance
- Structured career development pathways for graduates and senior clinicians
- Flexible working arrangements that support work-life balance
- A strong culture of supervision, mentorship, and collaboration
- Paid Birthday Leave: take your birthday off, on us
- Paid Study Leave to support your ongoing learning
- After 2 years: A paid week off to pursue personal or professional enrichment (e.g., travel, volunteering, research)
- Allocated PA support for administration tasks (appointments, billing, bookings)
- Incentive bonuses for clinicians who exceed billable expectations
- Access to modern clinical tools and a purpose-driven team
- Access to a modern clinic with private rooms and co-working spaces
