As a Marketing Manager, you'll be instrumental in shaping Koala's product and campaign marketing strategies and driving their execution. You'll partner closely with our in-house creative team and marketing channel owners, ensuring compelling and effective storytelling that resonates with our customers. Your expertise in articulating clear positioning, crafting strategic briefs, managing campaigns, and orchestrating the marketing calendar will be central to you and the Marketing Team's success.
What key responsibilities does this role have @ Koala?
- Coordinating effective launches of Koala's new products onsite and offsite to ensure launch objectives are met
- Leading and coordinating sale events to ensure commercial and customer goals are delivered
- Crafting strategies and briefs to achieve brand growth objectives, in partnership with the Head of Brand Marketing
- Leading cross-functional marketing projects and initiatives that arise and supporting the Head of Brand Marketing and Country Manager in key strategic marketing projects
- Monitoring product and category performance to ensure other marketing team members are leaning into the right opportunities
- Developing and ensuring delivery of a strong social proof strategy, including leading our product awards submissions and reviews strategies
- Owning and improving key campaign processes, including for product launches and sale events, and driving the Marketing team to constantly improve and innovate our ways of working
Ideal background…
- 5-7+ years experience in product marketing or a similar strategic marketing role, ideally in a digital consumer environment
- Proven track record of managing and coordinating large-scale marketing campaigns, including seasonal sales or promotional events.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing comprehensive product launch strategies and go-to-market plans.
- Exceptional skills in product positioning, strategic briefing, campaign development, and marketing planning.
- Experience working collaboratively with creative teams and marketing channel owners to deliver cohesive campaigns.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a talent for translating product features into compelling customer benefits.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive cross-functional teams toward a common goal.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions and measure campaign effectiveness.
- Proficiency in crafting detailed, strategic briefs that guide creative execution.
- A strategic thinker who can see the big picture while also managing day-to-day execution.
- Proven success collaborating with creative teams, channel owners, and external partners.
- Strong organizational skills and proven ability to manage complex marketing calendars and initiatives.
