Freyssinet Australia is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of specialist remedial and marine projects across Western Australia. Based out of our Welshpool office, this role will oversee complex works including concrete repair, structural strengthening, protective coatings, blast & paint, and marine infrastructure projects, with a strong commercial focus to ensure projects are delivered profitably and efficiently.
About the RoleAs Construction Manager, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every stage. Leading a high-performing team, you will manage planning, resourcing, and operational performance while helping grow our WA presence in both infrastructure and marine sectors. The role is heavily commercial, requiring strong IT and reporting skills to manage budgets, track project performance, and report to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage project delivery teams across a portfolio of remedial and marine works.
- Drive safety performance, compliance, and operational discipline on all sites.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring commercial outcomes are achieved.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Mentor and develop engineers, supervisors, and frontline crews.
- Support tendering, forecasting, and business development alongside senior leadership.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager in remedial, structural, or civil construction.
- Strong knowledge of concrete repair, coatings/blast & paint, structural rehabilitation, and marine infrastructure works.
- Demonstrated ability to lead site teams, manage resources, and deliver multiple projects.
- Commercially minded with excellent IT, reporting, and data management skills.
- Excellent safety and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Willingness to travel to projects across WA.
