**The Role & Project**

MACA Mining is currently looking for a
**Technical Specialist - Drill Maintenance** to work out of the corporate office supporting our mining operations across WA.

The “Technical Specialist” is responsible for ensuring the availability and reliability of our drill fleet and maintenance activities are performed in accordance with contracted requirements and in conjunction with the maintenance area managers and the Manager - Drill and Blast.

Using Data from Power BI and OEM sources you will be expert at analysing trends and identifying either remedial training needs - or pro-active interventions to improve and upgrade systems and processes to raise fleet performance to a higher level.

While based in our Welshpool office the role will require site travel as required.

**To be successful in this role, you will**:

- Possess relevant Trade qualifications
- Have a minimum of ten (10) years’ mine site experience
- Be Experienced in maintenance management in a mining environment
- Conversant with AS4801 and ISO 14001
- Have sound knowledge of statutory laws and obligations in the mining and civil industries
- Contribute to planning and preventative maintenance scheduling, including component strip downs to assess component conditions
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to the maintenance teams
- Maintain regular site visits across MACA sites for machine inspections and involvement in machine shut down repairs
