Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager located in Adelaide, SA. The Project Manager will oversee day-to-day project operations, manage project timelines, coordinate with team members, contractors and suppliers, and ensure compliance of employees to safety, building and legal regulations as indicated by industry standard. The role involves frequent inspections, logistical planning, and expediting processes to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.

Responsibilities, Duties And Authorities
A large variety of duties, authorities and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Defining project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities.
  • Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation - both internal and third party.
  • Outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver project on budget.
  • Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities.
  • Managing delivery of the project according to this plan.
  • Tracking project and providing regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.
  • Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed and administered
  • Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Project Management skills, including timeline management and coordination
  • Experience with expediting processes and logistics management
  • Inspection skills and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Adelaide, SA
  • Relevant certifications in project management are a plus
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role within the commercial and industrial sector
