About us

RAWSA is a leading civil contractor in South Australia, delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across the state. With a strong pipeline of local and outback projects, we are seeking experienced Project Managers to join our Adelaide-based team.

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of civil projects from tender through to completion. You will lead project teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure key objectives in safety, quality, cost, and time are met.

This role requires strong leadership skills and expertise in bulk and detailed earthworks, roads, pavements, and drainage, working on high-profile Tier 1 infrastructure projects. You will also assist in estimating and tender submissions to contribute to future project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely on time, and within budget.
  • Interpret and review architectural, civil, and structural drawings.
  • Oversee work methodologies, sequencing, and resource allocation with site supervisors.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Identify and mitigate HSEQ risks, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including risk assessments, management plans, and SWMS.
  • Provide regular reports on project progress, budgets, and HSEQ performance.
  • Assist in estimating and tendering for upcoming projects.

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in heavy civil construction, roads, and drainage.
  • Proven track record in project management, delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors in civil construction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and relevant project management software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence in managing trades and stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate must pass a pre-employment medical.
