Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components using appropriate welding techniques.
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding to required standards and tolerances.
  • Measure, cut, and shape metal materials using hand tools and fabrication machinery.
  • Ensure all welding and fabrication work meets quality and safety requirements.
  • Operate and maintain workshop equipment and machinery safely.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
  • Follow workplace health and safety policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent qualification).
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in metal fabrication and welding.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Skilled in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding across various metals (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures.
