Due to the ongoing growth, we are searching for a highly motivated Junior Legal Assistant who is customer service focused and who thrives working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are searching for a highly motivated Junior Legal Assistant with 1-2 years' experience in personal injury law to join the team at Prime Injury Lawyers.

You will in a team supporting a Lawyer and have the opportunity to work across a number of different practice areas, including WorkCover, TAC, Public Liability and Superannuation.

This role would suit a Legal Assistant who is looking to build their skills, knowledge and experience across a diverse range practice areas.

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities include:

· Providing legal support

· Preparing legal documents

· Drafting routine correspondence and court documents

· Preparing electronic briefs and court books

· Liaising and managing clients on a daily basis

· Providing excellent client service at all times

· Diary management and electronic filing

· File management

· Photocopying and scanning

· Administrative tasks, including incoming enquiries, producing file notes, filing of Court documents, managing invoicing and billing and all other necessary documents

· Working proactively to provide support where required within the team

ABOUT YOU

• At least 1-2 years' experience as a personal injury legal assistant in WorkCover and/or TAC preferred
• Working knowledge of WorkCover and TAC processes and procedures is required
• Working knowledge of Court and legal process
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to work well under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Proactive mindset
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task effectively
• A team player and willing to share knowledge and assist peers
• Empathic and compassionate
• Excellent customer service ethic with a focus on providing a high level of service
• Experience in Word, Excel, E-Brief Ready, Acrobat, DocuSign and ActionStep legal management software is advantageous
• Must have current Australian work rights
