**We are a provider based in the south east suburbs of Melbourne we are looking for multiple disability support workers in various parts of the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.**

**We are offering support to Children and Adults with disabilities within the South East and Northern region of Victoria.**

**Vacancy 1**

**Supporting a young boy (4 years old) with Autism and Behaviours of Concern.**

**Located in Narre Warren**

**Days and times are as follows**:

- **Tuesday 8:00-11:30am and 5:30-7:30pm**
- **Thursday 8:00-11:30am and 5:30-7:30pm**
- **Friday 8:00-11:30am and 5:30-7:30pm**

**We are looking for someone who**:

- **Will have a calm approach**
- **Can redirect and reengage the participant in their preferred activities.**
- **Can provide consistent support on a regular basis.**

**Vacancy 2**

**Supporting a 13 year old boy with ADHD, Autism, ODD and anxiety. Located in Cockatoo.**

**Days and times are as follows**:
**Monday 8:30-11:30**

**Thursday 8:30am onwards**

- A relevant qualification or studying
- Working in the relevant field
- Be available Before and/or After School hours
- Be available for weekend shifts
- Be able to travel maximum 45min for work
- Flexible hours *

The role may involve but is not limited:

- Assistance with community access and recreational activities
- Personal care (showering, toileting, and hygiene assistance)
- Attending appointments with participants
- Transportation and social engagement
- Light domestic duties
- Group Outings
- Replacement of shifts
- Manual Handling (not essential)
- Behaviour Support

Selection criteria:

- The legal right to work in Australia
- A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle (Essential)
- Working with Children’s Check (Essential)
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (Essential)
- Two professional references
- NDIS Screening Check (or willing to obtain)

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $33.50 - $80.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Shift work

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees must be fully vaccinated.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Narre Warren, VIC 3805: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (required)
