THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you based in Kalgoorlie and looking to join the NEW Fluiconnecto Ryco brand and professional environment of Respect, Safety with a can-do attitude?

Due to more growth in the business and new contract wins, we are currently seeking an experienced Hose Technician to join our well-established team based in Kalgoorlie WA. This role is for someone who is residential to Kalgoorlie already who will work out of our HydroShop. The successful person will work 5 days a week on 10-hour shifts, being on call every 3rd weekend.

For this role, you will provide high-quality multi-product install, repair and maintenance service to a diverse range of customers. You will get to work on all sorts of mechanical gear, for all sorts of clients in all sorts of places. These are permanent, secure, full-time roles offering EXCELLENT HOUR PAY RATES $$$. Ideally you must be already a local resident to Kalgoorlie to be suitable for this role.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong experience in providing technical service and troubleshooting/breakdown support
• Have the strong ability to repair and replace hydraulic hoses at customer and mine sites as required
• Conduct tests of mechanical systems on site
• Manufacture hose assemblies
• Maintain hose rooms at sites in a safe and tidy state
• Identify sales opportunities through product cross selling and optimisation
• Liaise closely with key stakeholders to ensure high level of customer satisfaction is achieve

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

• Unrestricted Australian work rights and must hold a valid visa
• Current Australian driver's licence
• Be a local resident of Kalgoorlie or nearby
• Broad understanding of hydraulic systems and principles
• Mechanical aptitude
• Exposure to service/repair of hydraulic and pneumatic Industrial/Mobile equipment
• Relevant trade or TAFE qualifications or at least 3 years or experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be willing to undertake a Pre Employment Medical Check and Police Check
