Our client is a fast-growing design and construction company working on luxury, bespoke residential, commercial, and government landscaping projects. We're looking for a hands-on Senior Bookkeeper who's passionate about getting the details right, keeping the finances on track, and helping the business run efficiently.

About the Role

This is a full-time position offering flexibility to work from home up to two days per week, depending on business needs.

You'll be the go-to person for all things accounting — managing day-to-day financial operations and supporting management with accurate, timely reporting. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of the accounts function in a dynamic, growing business.

  • Manage daily bookkeeping and financial administration in Xero
  • Reconcile bank accounts and maintain up-to-date cashflow tracking
  • Prepare and lodge BAS and PAYG with external support as needed
  • Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and superannuation
  • Support project cost tracking and budgets

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Company Accountant ideally from within the construction or project based industry
  • Strong skills in Xero and Microsoft Excel (essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confidence to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Solid understanding of GST, BAS, and payroll obligations
