Due to strong organic client growth, this hands-on role focuses on production and technical output. It is ideal for someone who enjoys compliance without the pressure of sales targets or managing staff or clients directly. You will manage your own workflow and contribute positively to team culture while working closely with a Partner in an open-door environment.

We are expanding and looking for an enthusiastic Senior Accountant to join our high-performing compliance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements and tax returns for established clients, with a focus on the building and construction sector.

  • Complete QBCC MFR (Minimum Financial Requirements) reporting and related compliance.

  • Assist with tax planning and business structuring.

  • Manage your workflow and meet agreed deadlines.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in a supportive, open-door team.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years in an Australian public practice accounting firm.

  • CA or CPA qualification.

  • Experience with building and construction or QBCC clients.

  • Strong technical tax and compliance knowledge, plus problem-solving skills.

  • Proactive, team-oriented approach.

  • Proficiency with Xero and XPM; Karbon experience is a plus.
