Our client is a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving health outcomes through authoritative, practical, and independent therapeutic guidance. They are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Executive Director to lead their Sales & Marketing division.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic direction and leadership for the entire Publishing team, including the editorial teams, production teams, and the Partnership Program.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of a comprehensive content strategy, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Driving business growth through innovative publishing products, services, and strategic partnerships.
  • Building and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, government agencies, and other industry leaders.
  • Managing a multi-million dollar budget and ensuring the financial sustainability of the Publishing division.
  • Leading and motivating a high-performing team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

To be successful, you will need:

  • A university degree in publishing, business, pharmacy, or medicine.
  • Master of Business Administration (highly desirable).
  • At least 10 years of experience in publishing, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Experience in executive leadership roles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • A strong commercial acumen and a strategic mindset.
  • The ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • In-depth knowledge of current developments in medical information publishing.
