The Opportunity
Outstanding opportunity for a high performing, customer focused Product Specialist to join our Trauma Team in Sydney. Managing the established South-West Sydney territory, your remit is to continue to drive the sale of our Trauma products within the assigned territory and contribute to the success of the greater team.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing innovative sales strategies and promoting the sale of J&J's range of trauma products
  • Supporting Surgeons in the operating theatre during cases
  • Developing relationships within the territory through trusted partnership and data insights
  • Conducting product demonstrations and providing accurate information regarding all products and their indications to customers
  • Delivering regular training for theatre personnel, and partnering with our internal Professional Education team to offer additional high-level training opportunities
  • Actively managing consignment inventory and logistics of loan equipment

About You

  • Degree qualified, with proven skills in hospital sales and territory management, and the confidence to work effectively under pressure in an operating theatre environment
  • Flexibility to occasionally work after office hours and the ability to participate in a weekend on-call roster every 7-8 weeks
  • Demonstrated ability in identifying customer pain points, expectations, and implicit needs, and proactively seeking solutions
  • Ability to develop relationships and have commercial conversations with a diverse range of customers
  • Commercial acumen, and a positive can-do attitude to achieving results
  • Strong communication, organisation and time management skills
