The role
We're looking for our first
Head of Marketing
to set the vision, hire the team, and scale Wellio's growth engine globally.
This is a rare opportunity to join a company with strong product-market fit and take full ownership of how we grow. You'll define the strategy, establish the foundations, and have a budget to make the first key hires on your team, while also being hands-on in the early stages.
The role is laser-focused on driving qualified leads and revenue. You'll own the demand generation strategy end-to-end, from paid acquisition and outbound campaigns to nurture flows, content, brand, and conversion optimisation, ensuring everything connects back to building measurable pipeline.
Key responsibilities
Pipeline ownership: Deliver marketing-sourced pipeline targets in partnership with sales leadership
Outbound growth: Design and run outbound campaigns (email, LinkedIn, multi-touch) to engage decision-makers at scale
Paid acquisition: Manage and scale performance campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn; optimise creative, targeting, and spend
Lifecycle & nurture: Build high-converting nurture journeys (welcome, re-engagement, conversion) with strong copy and automation
CRO & website: Own conversion rate optimisation across landing pages and the website
Data-driven optimisation: Track CAC, LTV, channel performance, attribution; refine strategy based on ROI
Sales collaboration: Partner with sales on lead scoring, segmentation, and GTM alignment to maximise deal velocity
Brand & content: Lead Wellio's brand and content strategy, ensuring everything works in service of awareness, credibility, and pipeline
Requirements / Qualifications
Has 7+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, with deep experience in demand generation in $5K–$25K ACV environments
Has directly owned a lead-gen or pipeline target and delivered against it
Has built and managed marketing teams from the ground up
Is hands-on with performance marketing platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta) and marketing automation (HubSpot or similar)
Has run multi-channel campaigns from strategy to execution and proven their impact with data
Can balance strategic planning with rolling up sleeves to write copy, set up automations, and optimise campaigns
Is excited about what AI unlocks for faster campaign building, testing, and scaling
