Head of Credit

Shift has a 10-year track record of solving complex problems for Australian businesses.
As the Head of Credit, you will be responsible for the effective leadership and day-to-day management of the Credit team, overseeing the assessment and ongoing review of the loan portfolio, and supporting the Corporate Credit team as part of the annual review process for cash flow lending. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, using data analytics and technology to enhance credit decisioning and loss mitigation strategies, with the aim of elevating the customer experience.
Responsibilities Lead the Credit team and manage day-to-day operations.
Oversee assessment and ongoing review of the loan portfolio; support the Corporate Credit team in the annual cash flow lending review.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data analytics and technology to improve credit decisioning and loss mitigation.
Shape risk management approaches and contribute to a positive customer experience.
Qualifications Tertiary qualifications.
Previously held Credit Delegation.
Experience leading a team.
Experience working in a cross-functional environment.
Business acumen and knowledge of the business lending market.
Experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
