Overview Are you an experienced bid professional who thrives on shaping winning strategies and leading complex pursuits? This is an exciting 12-month opportunity to step into a senior role, driving bid excellence and supporting business development across major projects.
Role As Pursuit & Bids Manager, you'll take the lead on high-profile pursuits and tenders across the state/country, working closely with senior stakeholders and technical experts. You'll coordinate multiple bids of varying scale and complexity, ensuring every submission is sharp, strategic, and client-focused.
The Role
Leading and managing the full bid lifecycle, from strategy and scheduling through to production and submission
Driving consistency, compliance, and quality across all pursuits
Partnering with teams to shape win strategies and support client-facing initiatives
Mentoring junior team members and sharing best practice to lift performance across the function
Analysing bid outcomes to improve processes and success rates
About You We\'re looking for a proven bids specialist with:
6+ years\' experience leading bids and pursuits within a professional services environment (legal, accounting, property, engineering)
Strong writing, editing, and proofing skills
Excellent influencing and relationship-building abilities
High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office
