What’s the job?
This position plays a pivotal leadership role in providing competitor, market and student information, supporting decision-making for important decisions across the university. As such, it works closely with business partners to clarify business requirements, develop project plans, execute research and produce insightful dashboards and actionable reports.
Day-to-day accountabilities:
- Ensure the customer markets insights team projects are running with no delays and with accuracy.- Responsible for the overseeing, planning and reporting of the student surveys (such as but not limited to NPS, SAT, course evaluations, employability surveys).- Provide analysis of survey results, including changes in performance over time and the statistical significance of results, deliver deep-dive reports and executive summaries that are relevant and actionable for the organisational to achieve its internal goals.- Liaise with external vendors to ensure the brand awareness tracking collection is running, update the internal dashboard of results and report insights to key stakeholders.- Provide market and competitor insights to drive the organisational and key teams’ long-range planning.- Support the marketing team to unleash potential marketing claims from survey and market data.- Leverage of storytelling skills to make sense of the student life-cycle insights collected across the organisation from different student cohorts, providing strategic advice to senior leaders that drive ongoing business strategies and improvement initiatives.
Who you are:
To be successful in this role, you will be a problem solver who is passionate about the education sector (no need to have prior experience in the industry) and who comes with:
- Demonstrated experience in market research and voice of customer initiatives- Proficiency with Qualtrics and PowerBi- Demonstrated data visualisation and storytelling skills- Demonstrated experience with data manipulation, modelling, reporting and presentation- Great stakeholder management and communication skills, with a positive and practical approach- Ideally, you will have R, SPSS, SQL and/or Python skills
