**Your Opportunity**:
**As the Student Support Officer you will**:

- Liaise and provide support to students and families at the school/college and liaise with the wider community.
- Promote the benefits of education to improve outcomes for students and families.

The Student Support Officer reports to the nominated supervisor.

**About the Role**:
As the Student Support Officer your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Liaise with Teachers and students within the study, research and resources space.
- Implement innovative learning strategies
- Working with students on a case by case basis
- Supervision of students during study periods etc...
- Monitoring behaviour and wellbeing
- Act as an independent mediator between the school, students, families and community members to enhance open communication.

When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
