**Job Description**:
As our Facility Manager you’ll be responsible for the effective management of day-to-day operations at NEXTDC’s A1 facility. This will include managing facility staff and contractors, overseeing maintenance and ensuring quality delivery of both NEXTDC and contracting services to our customers.

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive knowledge of data centres including electrical and mechanical configurations, rack management, design and installation, with a good understanding of high-density data centre power, cooling approaches and technologies.

**Qualifications**:

- Extensive knowledge of all aspects of data centres including electrical and mechanical configurations, rack management, design and installation
- Understanding of high-density data centre power, cooling approaches and technologies
- Extensive knowledge of cabling & cable management and quality inspection / assurance
- Knowledge of various codes and applicable regulations
- A customer first attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of BMS and other computer-based building service systems
- Exceptional planning, organising and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and effective interpersonal skills
