**The Company**

Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturer who produces much loved Australian products. After a recent acquisition, they are enjoying significant growth and as a result, have an opportunity for an experienced Logistics Manager to join the business and optimise their Supply Chain practice.

Based in the South Eastern suburbs, this is an excellent opportunity for a solutions focussed Logistics Manager to drive change and make a significant impact and have the autonomy and support to do so.

**The Role**
- Leadership and execution of all day-to-day operational responsibilities of the warehouse.
- Responsible for the development and transformation of a best in class supply chain operations.
- Create and implement the long term logistics strategy for the next 5+ years. Project manage and deliver on logistics transformation.
- Strong focus on leadership and development of personnel, culture, efficiency and costs.
- Ensuring DIFOT targets and service levels are consistently met.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the network and through suppliers.
- Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Leading a team of 4 direct reports.
- Optimise customer service levels, ensuring they are met or exceeded, as well as leading and delivering on the company's strategic logistics objectives nationally.

**Your Background**
- A strong Warehouse or Logistics Manager with 5+ years experience in food manufacturing.
- Possess a genuine interest in developing best practice processes and systems.
- Are a natural leader, easily able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on outcomes and improve the distribution process.
- Your engaging nature will ensure a genuine collaboration and team spirit, mínimal absenteeism and an ability to negotiate positive outcomes with external parties, including union and OHS representatives.
- Have strong analytical and financial skills coupled with an ability to influence outcomes.
