Wind Energy Logistics Executive

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Leader to oversee all logistics activities and processes related to wind turbine delivery plans and execution. The successful candidate will develop strategies, processes, and capabilities to optimize our project delivery portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, materials planning, project management, and logistics planning. They will be responsible for managing weekly deliveries of turbine components to project sites, coordinating a team of contractors and logistics service providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Logistics Planning: Develop and implement effective logistics plans to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of wind turbines.
  • Turbine Component Management: Manage the delivery of turbine components to project sites, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Contractor and Provider Management: Coordinate with a team of contractors and logistics service providers to ensure smooth execution of logistics operations.
  • Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Provide cost estimates during the sales phase and negotiate rates with logistics service providers to ensure budget adherence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited university or college with coursework in engineering, statistics, business administration, supply chain and logistics, or data analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain, materials planning, project management, and/or logistics planning.
  • Prior experience in a project/logistics environment.
  • Strong data analytics skills and proficiency with relevant digital logistics tools.
