**General Manager**

**Are you an experienced General Manager? Or perhaps you have previously run your own business? This is a unique opportunity to flex your managerial skills and really make this position, your own.**

Since 2003, Composite Engineering has been one of Australia’s most trusted suppliers of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) products, and a leader in structural composite fabrication. Proudly supplying into the marine, rail, industrial and commercial sectors.

We are known for our innovative designs and exceptional customer service. We are always looking for new ways to fix old problems for our clients and that’s why they keep coming back. Our clients include national top tier construction companies, agribusiness, state government, aquaculture organisations, marine and aviation companies just to name a few. We are young and nimble and punching well above our weight and that’s how we like it.

**Who You Are**:
You report only to the Managing Director who will be there to show you the ropes and guide your early development in the business, whilst giving you the opportunity to earn a share of the profits that you generate.

Should you be offered the role, your responsibilities will include:

- Providing leadership for the successful day to day operations of the business.
- Assisting with the development of sales strategies to support the continuous growth of the business.
- Managing key stakeholder relationships
- Providing regular reporting to management
- Any other duties as required.

As a Design and Fabrication business, relevant tertiary qualifications will be considered preferably however, we also understand that sometimes hands on experience provides all of the tools that you need to do your job well.

**You will have**:
Proven leadership skills working with a diverse team.

Previous and demonstratable experience in a similar role

An understanding of operational and functional facets of a business, in particular sales, inventory, finance, purchasing, and warehousing.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Salary**: $150,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
