My Federal Government Client is currently seeking an APS5 Program Support Officer for their Geelong CBD office, to join their growing team.

**Your new role**

As the APS5 Program Support Officer, you will work with my Federal Government Client in a full time, 12 month assignment commencing as soon as possible. You will be responsible for undertaking moderately complex, to complex work with legislation, policies and procedures guiding your position. This position will perform work that involves team leadership responsibilities that require the setting of priorities and allocation of work to staff members within the team. Further responsibilities include:

- Assisting with maintaining process and documentation relating to service delivery, ensuring alignment to legislation and policy, and utilising change and risk management principles to ensure impacts are communicated to relevant parties.
- Coordinating and analysing data and written information for the purposes of drafting high level internal and external communications including reports, advice, presentations and communications for Ministerial, Parliamentary and executive responses.
- Assisting with the collation and audits of data, including reporting

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed as APS5 Program Support Officer, you will need:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience drafting written correspondence including reports, advice or presentations
- Strong engagement with multiple stakeholders
- Experience leading or supervising a team, allocating workload to team members
- Strong IT skills including MS Office, Government systems preferred
- Organisation and time management
- Experience in the disability, health or aged care sectors
- Case management experience desired
