Cross River Rail will transform the way we travel to, from and through Brisbane in the future. It will be a catalyst for 10 years of wider rail transformation across the whole of South East Queensland and it is already playing a key role in how we prepare for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Cross River Rail is a new 10.2km rail line including 5.9km of twin tunnels running under the Brisbane River and CBD. It includes the delivery of four new underground stations, two new above-ground stations, accessibility rebuilds for six stations, the construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast, and the introduction of a new world-class 'ETCS' signalling system.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work on one of Australia's largest infrastructure projects and to be a part of something that will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
About the Role
The purpose of the position is to provide project planning and scheduling support to the NGCS Project Team including project managers and project controls teams managing NGCS project delivery through the project lifecycle including design, procurement and construction. The position will also manage the schedule review and reporting functions for the NGCS Project within the Delivery Authority's Program Controls Team.
This position reports to the Program Planning and Scheduling Manager.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Collaboratively plan the NGCS project as part of the NGCS Project Team to develop and maintain the NGCS Master Schedule.
- Provide guidance to other project stakeholders on the Delivery Authority's planning and scheduling requirements to ensure timely NGCS delivery.
- Use industry standard techniques and tools to develop, resource, maintain and status the NGCS Master Schedule in Primavera P6 including the review and incorporation of detailed design, procurement and possession works schedules.
- Monitor, analyse and assess external schedules against key project and contract milestones.
- Collaboratively develop and maintain the Delivery Authority's Schedule Risk Assessments / Analysis (SRAs) for the NGCS schedule.
- Support NGCS project management activities with weekly, monthly and quarterly planning and scheduling review and reporting activities including maintaining dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
- Provide key NGCS activity, milestone and schedule risk inputs into the Delivery Authority's Program Controls Office and NGCS Project team on all NGCS works to support the ongoing maintenance of the Schedules and Program Summary.

About You
- Proven experience performing collaborative planning and scheduling positions on large construction projects
- Demonstrated experience in planning, scheduling and schedule risk analysis within both program and project management environments in Primavera P6.
- Ability to integrate schedule and cost data to perform (Critical Path Method) CPM and Earned Value (EV) analysis.
- Well-developed analytical skills with the ability to analyse and report relevant data, with exposure to business intelligence dashboard tools such as PowerBI or Tableau desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels including managing multiple project stakeholder expectations.
- Tertiary education or qualifications in relevant field i.e. Engineering, Project or Construction Management, etc is desirable.
