**About the role**

This is your opportunity to get your foot in the door of one of Australia's largest and most diverse not-for-profit organisations. This is an exciting opportunity based in our beautiful, environmentally-friendly Churches of Christ Kenmore Campus with on-site café.

We currently have a position within our Office of the CEO team available. This is a small, high profile team where tact and confidentiality must be maintained. You will be trained and mentored by experienced team members whilst studying towards a Cert III in Business Administration..

Ultimately, we are searching for a dynamic and energetic person wishing to gain exposure and experience in a broad range of administrative duties, including answering telephone enquiries, filing, scanning, electronic mail, as well as how to adhere to different office procedures. You will be required to utilise your organisational and time management abilities and solid interpersonal and communication skills.

This is an entry-level position under the Business Support Staff Enterprise Agreement, which combines study and work. This traineeship is best suited to people looking to return to work or younger people wishing to gain a nationally recognised qualification and experience with a reputable organisation.

**About you**

Contributing as an active member in a small team, you will be enthusiastic to learn and eager to assist the team to deliver quality service to the business.

You will possess a basic understanding of administration functions with basic computer skills, including the ability to use Word, Outlook and Google Chrome. Furthermore, you possess the proven ability to think on your feet and proactively find solutions to issues as and when they arise.

You will be supported in your learning on-the-job by experienced team members, and assisted to obtain a formal qualification in Business Administration.

To meet QLD Health Directives, you must be able to show evidence of a current COVID vaccinations. To meet organisational compliance, a National Police Check will be conducted on the successful person.
