Today, we are the world’s premier LCL ocean freight t consolidator, and we’re still pushing boundaries. **ABOUT THE ROLE** As the Customer Service Representative, you will be required to provide the highest level of Customer Service and ensure all options are researched to establish maximum profitability when preparing quotations and arrange import and export shipments on behalf of customers. Essential duties & responsibilities as follows: - Quoting Clients - Liaising with overseas offices to arrange movement of customers shipments - Creating and distributing order tracking reports - Creation and distribution of customer import tariffs - Provide support to Business Development Managers as needed - Providing operations with required documents and rates - Arranging third party shipments **WHATS REQUIRED** - Demonstrated experience in international freight forwarding customer service and/or operations - Strong relationship building experience with excellent communication skills, both written & verbal - Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment - Well organised with the ability to multitask - High level attention to detail & problem-solving skills **WHY VANGUARD?** We are an industry stalwart and a true innovator.
