**Payroll Training Specialist**

The Royal Melbourne Hospital Financial Shared Services (FSS) provide a range of Payroll services for The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) and Western Health (WH). FSS are the outsource provider for The Royal Children’s Hospital and The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. We process the payroll for over 25,000 employees working 24/7 rosters, spread over 26 complex Enterprise Agreements, across 2 alternating fortnightly pay cycles.

**Your new role**:

- Responsible for ensuring the effective training and development of our payroll operations staff. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering comprehensive payroll training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our payroll team members. Your expertise in payroll operations and training methodologies will contribute to the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of our payroll processes.
- You will work closely with both the Payroll Operations and Payroll Systems teams, as well as engage with other stakeholders internally as required.

**About You**:

- Comprehensive understanding of payroll operations and preferably in public health sector
- Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs, preferably in payroll operations or a related field.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage learners and adapt training delivery to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

**Core Functions**:

- Ensure training content aligns with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures governing payroll operations in the public health sector.
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for new hires and existing payroll team members, covering various aspects of payroll operations, processes and systems.
