**PIQ UX/UI Designer**

We have an exciting design role in our Business Banking division working on our Strata Management Platform. If you are looking for a role that utilises your UX/UI design skills to understand insights, fall in love with the problem space and design customer-centred solutions through iterations and validation, this role will challenge you to bring all your skills to the table.

You will be working with a multi-disciplinary team of Designers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Engineers, and the business to bring experiences to life. You will help build on the existing component library and demonstrate an understanding of usability principles in your approach.

You will be experienced in continually testing features and assumptions; ensuring that you keep a cadence of regular testing and continuous discovery. You will be excited about using feedback to iterate on your designs. You enjoy collaborating with research stakeholders, playing back insights and findings to product stakeholders and engaging our clients in our research sessions.

In your approach to design, you understood the need to gain clarity on scope and technical effort as early as possible, engaging with product owners and developers. You always champion the user, whilst understanding the needs of the business.

**What you'll do**:

- Collaborate closely with a cross functional team of Designers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Engineers, and the business to bring experiences to life
- Help define and iterate the overarching IA and conduct needs and task analysis
- Design simple, innovative and intuitive solutions to complex scenarios
- Produce sketches, flowcharts and wireframes to support robust discussions with technical and business stakeholders
- Advocate for the customer as you refine solutions, creating prototypes or mockups for testing and validation
- Use Figma to rapidly iterate on designs and produce high fidelity artefacts such as visual design, illustration, iconography and animations.
- Build design component libraries for usability, familiarity, scale and re-use

**What we're looking for**:

- 3 + years as a UX/UI or Product designer
- Designers who thrive in a collaborative team, bringing excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong portfolio showcasing experience in product design where you have previously shipped UX/UI design for digital products
- A passionate design advocate, committed to best practice and sharing ideas and inspiration within the team
- A problem solver who loves big challenges, tackles them using a collaborative workflow, with the client front of mind
- End to end experience of managing design activities across the user-centred design process including strong design research skills, iterative design and prototyping and facilitation of usability testing.

**Desired skills & experience**:

- Knowledge and experience working with brand and design systems
- Experience interviewing and dealing with B2B clients
- Experience working within financial services
- Knowledge of the Strata industry.
