The Opportunity

Ventia's Group Supply Chain team is thrilled to launch a newly created Visualisation Specialist role, designed to elevate strategic decision-making across the supply chain. In this pivotal position, you'll transform complex, raw data into clear, actionable insights that empower leaders to optimise operations, reduce costs, and strengthen supply chain resilience. Your work will directly contribute to Ventia's mission of driving exceptional efficiency across its global network.

Key Accountabilities

  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that translate complex supply chain data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Highlight trends, risks, and opportunities across metrics like logistics efficiency, supplier performance, and cost reduction.
  • Use Databricks to access and integrate large-scale supply chain datasets.
  • Write optimised SQL queries for data preparation, transformation, and analysis to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Bridge technical and business teams to deliver visual solutions aligned with strategic goals.
  • Gather requirements and present insights through compelling, narrative-driven data storytelling for informed decision-making.

About You

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Solid hands-on experience designing and deploying interactive dashboards using leading BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik Sense).
  • Strong proficiency in Databricks, including Databricks SQL and platform architecture.
  • Skilled in writing complex, efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with Python for advanced analytics and scripting is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of core supply chain processes (e.g., procurement, logistics, commercial).
  • Industry certifications (e.g., AWS Data Analytics, Google Cloud Data Engineer) are advantageous.
