**About Us**
Tall Emu, an MYOB company, is an established Aussie startup entering scaleup stage. Our core product is Tall Emu, a stock-aware CRM system designed for Aussie small businesses. We empower our SME customers to manage their businesses better, from prospecting and quoting to selling and inventory management. Our seamless integration with MYOB and Xero accounting platforms provide a true end-to-end system.

To underpin our growth, we are hiring a senior hands-on technologist to join our Sydney team. We are open to applicants at the Senior Developer or Principal Developer level.

**The Role**
Joining our Tall Emu development team means having passion for what you do, thinking creatively to drive quality outcomes, trying new things and building something great. In this role, you will:

- Drive Tall Emu into the future as part of our Sydney-based team of senior developers, collaborating with our local team and with our International dev team. We are growing from a small SaaS business to a big player in the CRM space, backed by MYOB.
- Regularly deliver great customer-focused solutions to our customers using diverse tech, sensible defaults and systems thinking (if you’re new to some concepts, we will be here to help)
- Build integrations with the tools and software that small businesses use every day.
- Design, build, test and deploy software solutions using a combination of various architectures
- Drive continuous improvement in our development and DevOps practices

**About You**
You may be our next Tall Emu if this sounds like you:

- Strong programming skills, ideally with experience across most (if not all) of the following: C#,.NET Core, Azure, MVC and modern JavaScript frameworks (vue.js in particular is nice to have, though not required)
- Pragmatic approach to solving technical challenges. Able to learn and utilize emerging tech as needed to support our technical direction
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment
- Cloud & CI/CD knowledge is a strong plus, though not a must have
- Proven experience designing and developing highly scalable, high performance systems. Past experience building B2B SaaS products regarded highly, though not required
- A great teammate. Comfortable working with both internal stakeholders and your team of senior developers to get stuff done well at a very high standard.

As some in-person time is important to our team, we do require that applicants are based in the Greater Sydney region and willing to attend the office 1-3 days per week.
