**About the role**:
This is an exciting opportunity to assist our growing business divisions to coordinate projects that are part of a large Group-wide transformation programme. You will have proven experience in managing small projects and / or being part of a team managing larger projects under the guidance of experienced project managers. You will enjoy the challenge of technology projects and a passion for providing exceptional project delivery.
Icon seeks several Project Coordinators to support our Transformation and Change Office based at head office in South Brisbane. Reporting to the Global Solutions Manager you will support project managers and project leads across a diverse range of projects. These roles are initial 12 or 24 month contract positions with the likelihood of extension.
These transformational projects include CRM, HR, Automation and clinical systems implementations, integrations, or enhancements.
Successful applicants will be expected to engage in day-to-day activities including:
- Coordinate daily project tasks
- Assist in coordinating meetings / workshops / vendors.
- Assist in project scheduling and task management coordination and management
- Coordination of project activities and deliverables to meet project scope and program requirements.
- Coordination with internal and external stakeholders where required
- Support project managers and team members where required
- Support project owners with maintenance and management of online project management tool
- Input into all associated reporting
- Support staff with the tools utilised within Icon for project governance
- Support the development of project business case and charters
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure Icon Group maximizes the effective use of its project resources
**About you**:
We are seeking motivated project coordinators excited to develop their skills and careers determine to deliver successful projects. You will have:
- Proven experience in programming
- Familiarity with online project management tools (ie. MS Project or similar)
- Experience in a similar role
- Suitable Tertiary qualifications or recognised certifications in project management.
- Open and effective communication skills
- Exceptional communicator who presents as credible and professional
- Confidence to take ownership of your project and lead your project team
- Exposure to small to medium healthcare projects, preferably in pharmacy or cancer care desired
