**About the role**
As Leading Hand (Roads and District Teams) you will be part of the Works and Field Services team and will be responsible for undertaking detailed maintenance and minor construction works on Roads and Drainage assets to Council standards.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Undertake detailed maintenance and minor construction works on Roads and Drainage assets to Council standards
- Comply with relevant legislation, Council policies and procedures.
- Requisition and maintain stocks off equipment in correct manner to ensure availability within budgetary constraints.
- Operate plant and equipment within licence requirements, manufacture’s specifications, and Council standards.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:

- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership
- Current C Class Driver Licence.
- Have successfully or the ability to completed Level 2 MUTCD.
- Statement of Attainment for the competencies outlined in the Responsibilities in item 3 or appropriate National Qualification Certificates covering these duties, or evidence of proficiency (equivalent knowledge and experience)

A Pre-employment medical will be required for this role (Including a drug and alcohol test)

This is a permanent full-time position at grade 12 - 14 with a salary package commencing at $62,387 plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.
