**The role**:
Reporting to Program Test Manager, You will be responsible for influencing testing services, providing high level testing direction in the ongoing development, integration and maintenance of complex and highly configurable Laboratory Information Management System (AUSLAB/EVO) that provides health and pathology related data for Queensland Health and its clients.

**In addition to this, you will be responsible for**:

- Manage the development of test strategies, test plans and test cases, within a requirement and risk-based testing and assurance framework, for ICT change activities.
- Review test cases to ensure accuracy, completeness, traceability and coverage of business requirements and risks.
- Assist in the development of ICT testing cost estimates for project budgets, options analysis and business cases.
- Provide supervision to a small team of specialist testing resources.
- Coordinate testing and acceptance activities and ensure the execution of these activities.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of testing and technical specialities and provide sound advice and recommendations on any aspect of test planning and execution.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including mentoring and leading team members providing peer reviews, training and support.
- Maintain and report statistics and metrics regarding the progress and outcomes of testing and team outputs

Are you right for this role?
To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated experience in the planning of testing activities, including the development of test strategies, test products and test cases to ensure compliance to testing and technical policies, standards and procedures within a large, complex IM/ICT environment.
Furthermore, you will have demonstrated stakeholder relationship management skills to support, including the ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of required outcomes.
