**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This is an exciting opportunity for an IT Test Lead to champion a skilled team of software testers, ensuring the flawless delivery of cutting-edge software solutions. Your pivotal role involves carefully planning and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for resolution. Driving innovation in testing methodologies and tools, you'll manage risks, uphold project deadlines, and foster effective communication with stakeholders. Embracing the COG Way, you'll not only manage your team's performance to align with the Group's strategy but also cultivate a culture of brand excellence, adhering to established frameworks to achieve organisational objectives. **SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Demonstrated expertise in IT service roles, showcasing a track record of effectively meeting customer needs and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting various IT components including desktops, hardware, software, printers, and POS systems, with a basic understanding of enterprise systems such as ERP, HR, Payroll, and Distribution Centre systems.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and experience in using ticketing systems to categorise and resolve service desk requests, incidents, and problems.
- Proven ability to resolve high-level technical issues promptly and clearly, whether through phone support or in-person interaction.
- Skilled in documenting procedures and creating training materials to facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
- Technical qualifications coupled with comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an aptitude for effective communication and interpersonal interactions.
- Exceptional time management abilities, demonstrated leadership in developing team members, and a relentless drive for achieving results.
