Marketing & Communication Project Lead

**The role**

South East Water’s vision is to “Innovate with purpose. Act with care”. This builds on our strength as problem solvers with heart, to ensure we continue to deliver healthy water for life, for our customers, community and environment. The Marketing & Communication Project Lead will help South East Water with the implementation and communication of our new 5-year price submission, by understanding which customer segments require what messaging and when.

Leading the marketing and communications stream for customer segmentation and messaging, as well as internal employee communications, a key component of the role is engaging across the business to ensure collaboration and delivery to project timelines, keeping the leadership informed and allowing necessary information and lead times for joint decisions.

**Who are you?**

This 12-month fixed term role will require the following skills, knowledge and experience to really hit the ground running and make a difference:

- Qualifications in a relevant field or 5+ years’ experience in marketing and communications management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop segmentation models and messaging frameworks for complex matrix communications.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with an array of teams and stakeholders.
- An ability to flex when adjusting to changes in project scope, resources and expectations
- Excellent communication skills with varying audiences, operating with a growth mindset, strong team orientation and transparency.
- Understanding of the water sector, economic regulatory frameworks, and customer engagement linkages would be an advantage.
- Comfortable around regulatory and pricing data.
- Strong planning, attention to detail and time management skills.
- CMS knowledge and know-how beneficial but not essential.
