Katuk - located on Chapel Street South Yarra - is a vibrant cocktail bar, opened in 2007. Our impressive back bar boasts over 400 bottles, and our team has a special passion for Whisky and Chartreuse.

We don’t mean to brag, but Katuk has the largest collection of Glenmorangie Whisky outside of the distillery itself, and a bespoke Whisky cabinet for members to store their personal collections.

Katuk trades 7 nights per week, Fridays and Saturdays until 3am.

We are seeking a full-time Assistant Venue Manager, to work alongside our close-knit team.

**What we are looking for**:

- A passionate and creative hospo professional, either with previous supervisory or management experience, or someone looking to take a step up into a management position.
- Excellent knowledge of cocktails.
- A knack for building rapport and relationships with patrons.
- Extremely well presented, eager to learn, and willingness to lead and nurture our team.
- Late night & weekend availability.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Working alongside Katuk’s VM, leading and training a team of fun-loving and passionate bartenders, and fostering an inclusive and nurturing team culture.
- Being a hands-on part of the management team, providing memorable and exceptional patron experiences.
- Harnessing your creativity to contribute innovative ideas, and shaping our seasonal house cocktail menus.
- Learning the ropes of managing all aspects of the venue.

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
