This is a fabulous opportunity for an **Account Executive (AE)** to join our **Mercer Marsh Benefits business in the Perth office.**

As an AE you will be responsible for professional advisory support to clients on all their group insurance arrangements including broking services and ongoing policy maintenance.

**Key Responsibilities will include**:

- Providing insurance consulting advice to corporate clients.
- Preparing recommendations and appropriate reports and deliver advice to clients via face-to-face discussions where appropriate.
- Managing and maintaining a portfolio of group insurance clients to ensure profitability, client satisfaction and retention.
- Developing strategic account planning with Middle Market and Large clients to strengthen relationships and open up opportunities for growth.
- Managing, conducting and evaluating open market tenders for group life, disability and salary continuance insurance.
- Providing technical support on group insurance matters for corporate clients, and insurance administration staff.
- Manage the re-rating process for administered insurance policies including the renegotiation of insurance terms and conditions.
- Evaluating policy wordings to ensure they meet quoted terms and assist clients with policy interpretations.
- Assisting in the development and execution of new business opportunities within your current portfolio.
- Reviewing communication material in relation to group insurance benefits for employees.

**Skills and Experience required**:

- A background in group insurance and/or superannuation experience within an insurance company, consulting or brokerage firm is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- RG 146 qualifications in risk management and superannuation (or prepared to obtain within 6 months’ of starting) - Tier 1 compliant.
- Health, Life and Benefits Experience will come highly regarded.
- You will naturally be a team player who understands the pressures of client facing roles and responds well to working to deadline or under pressure.
