"We don't teach, we facilitate; we don't manage, we lead; and, we don't drive we offer direction." **About the Role** Foundation Skills Trainer - Providing support and mentoring to students throughout the learning journey - Designing and delivering dynamic and energetic training using up to date technology - Implementing training strategies that provide positive outcomes for disadvantaged groups and promote access and equity - Ability to build capacity through training of young people and lessen the barriers to employment and empower learners to actively participate in developing a transition plan that they understand - Committed to our goal of making sure that young people graduating are ready to move into open employment or further education opportunities **Benefits and Perks** - Great work-life balance - Work in a life-changing environment **Skills and Experience** - Experience working with people with disability - Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels and from different cultural backgrounds - High level of written communication skills - Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities and deadlines **Mandatory requirements** - TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment or higher-level qualification - NDIS Worker Clearance Screening. - VIC Working with Children's Check (WWC) - NDIS orientation - COVID19 full vaccination
