Reporting Coordinator (Grade 7)

**_ Tenure_**

Part-time, 2 year fixed term contract with the option of flexible working hours.

**_ Location of role_**

This role is based at 680 George Street Sydney, NSW. Sydney Metro works in a hybrid working environment with the flexibility to work from home and in the office. There will be a requirement to sometimes work from other project locations as needed.

**_ Objective_**

The role provides coordination of reporting and support services for the development and maintenance as well as continuous improvement of regular reports. The role also enables effective decision making across projects and provides high level administrative and communications support to contribute toward the effective operation of the social procurement and industry development team, and alignment to the wider Sydney Metro Workforce Development & Industry Participation strategy.

**_ What you will do_**

The Reporting Coordinator will use dashboards, reports, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based on established reporting principles and informed by industry best practice in order to coordinate the provision of up to date and accurate information for inclusion in Sydney Metro City & southwest reporting documentation enabling adherence to governance standards and processes.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Collaborate with the Associate Director to assist in the development and maintenance of tracking and reporting systems which follow the progress of projects and provide oversight
- Ensuring change control processes are applied correctly and that project baselines are met and schedules are followed
- Ensuring high quality reporting and analysis occurs through the support of ongoing implementation and improvement of project management standards, tools, and processes
- Coordination of reporting on project performance and progress following corporate standards, processes, and templates
- Coordination and provision of timely and relevant advice and information to management regarding the progress of projects
- Development of content for executive level briefings, reporting, and analysis to be delivered to a varied audience
- Application of reporting practices to ensure optimised safety and performance across projects
- Applicant Requirements- Must have-
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a diagnosis of autism (including autism spectrum disorder; Asperger’s Syndrome; Autistic Disorder or PDD-NOS).
- Unrestricted working rights.
- All staff are required to undertake police checks.
- There is a requirement to be fully vaccinated or hold a medical exemption.
- Must live within a daily commutable distance to the location of the role.
- Should have- These things are important to have:
- Intermediate or above skills in Microsoft packages with a focus on Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
- High level organisational skills
- Good oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in reporting within set standards and processes
- Ability to prepare a range of client outputs including (but not limited to) reports and visualisations.
- Capable of working autonomously and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practice in communicating complex information in a clear and humanised way across various channels.
